The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 is a mid-range video card for laptop computers. The GTX 1650 lacks ray-tracing technology for realistic lighting, shadows, and effects you can find in the pricier Nvidia GeForce RTX series. But, the GTX 1650 is still an excellent gaming-class video card. It is commonly used in entry-level gaming laptop models, as well as a budget GPU option in mid-range gaming notebooks.
As same as in the most of other Nvidia GeForce GPU models, there are two variants of the card – the regular GTX 1650 and the Max-Q GTX 1650 version. The Max-Q variant consumes less power and runs cooler, but it is slower at the same time than the standard version.
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Benchmark
Benchmarks show the GTX 1650 is somewhere in the middle of the current laptop video card hierarchy. For greater performance while still maintaining relatively low gaming laptop price, you can take a look at the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti series released in 2019 or some of the older GTX models like the GTX 1060. The GeForce RTX 2000-series models are also faster and provide ray-tracing, but notebooks with these video cards tend to be noticeably pricier.
Gameplay Tests
Here are some gameplay videos featuring notebook PCs with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650. Generally, the card can provide completely smooth gaming experience in hardware-demanding games on Full HD resolution, if you dial down graphics quality settings to medium, while less GPU-intensive games can run fluidly in Full HD on high and maximum settings.

I have a Razer blade stealth. The results are a bit better than a console experience, including that you can turn settings down. I’ve also played Hitman 2 at 50 – 60 fps at medium settings.
