Keymaster11/06/2020 at 8:14 pm #2650The Intel UHD (G4) is a graphics processor built into the 11th Generation Intel Core G4-series main laptop processors. A popular example of them is the 11th Gen Intel Core i3-1115G4.
With its 48 execution units and a maximal clock speed of 1250 MHz, the Intel UHD G4 is weaker than the 96 EU 1300 MHz Intel Iris Xe of the popular 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 and i7-1165G7 processors.
They are, however, both entry-level graphics processors just like all current GPUs that are integrated into the main processors and use the main system memory instead of having their own. They can be used for light gaming, but the Intel Iris Xe provides smoother gameplays than the UHD G4. Nevertheless, they are much slower than the full blown gaming-class video cards such as the Nvidia GeForce GTX or RTX series.

Keymaster07/21/2023 at 2:41 pm #2654This guy has managed to get up to 30 fps at 720p resolution, with UHD G4 and 8GB of RAM: https://youtu.be/Kv29pkw6X9g
It’s not however clear whether he used dual-channel RAM, which is noticeably better than single-channel in 3D gaming.
