The Intel UHD G1 is an integrated graphics processor. You can find it in the main laptop processors from the 10th Gen Intel Core G1 series. The most popular among these are the Intel Core i5-1035G1 and i3-1005G1.
Just like all integrated graphics processors, the UHD G1 isn’t aimed at heavy gaming. It is designed to manage screens of laptops with it and provide some basic gaming ability.
The Intel UHD G1 with its 32 graphics execution units is an improvement over the 24-unit Intel UHD graphics of the 10th Gen Intel Core U-series processors. However, the Intel UHD G1, is weaker than the Intel Iris Plus G4 and Intel Iris Plus G7 graphics of the 10th Gen Intel Core G4 and G7 series processors. They have 48 and 64 execution units, respectively.
Intel UHD G1 Graphics Benchmark
Here’s a benchmark test of the Intel UHD G1 compared to other widely used graphics processors for laptops.
As expected, the Intel UHD G1 achieves an only slightly better score than the Intel UHD. The Iris Plus G4 and G7 are slightly better than the UHD G1. Nevertheless, they all provide quite basic graphics performance, which greatly lags behind the full-blown gaming class video cards, such as those from the popular Nvidia GeForce GTX series.
Real World Gaming on UHD G1
Although the benchmark scores of the Intel UHD G1 are quite low, the graphics processor is still able to handle many of the most popular PC games. Some lighter game titles can run decently smooth. For example, League of Legends, Minecraft, or Dota. These games are playable on the weaker Intel UHD as well, while the UHD G1 should be able to provide a bit smoother gaming experience in them. Hardware-demanding PC games are generally too heavy for the Intel UHD G1 and other similar integrated graphics processors, but some titles can be playable on lowest in-game graphics detail settings.

You guys are expecting too much from this chip. Even full blown video cards struggle with that game because its hard to run and it’s poorly optimized. Buy something more powerful if you want to run that.

I have the same specs and have played this game on lowest settings but it doesn’t work as good as it does in the video. While using any vehicle I get only 6-8 fps but whille walking I get 20-25 fps

Depends. because there is some heavy mods like RLcraft. It can handle the lightest shader and it can also handle a optimized RLcraft with optifine and low setting at 30 to 70 fps

This is possably because your using single channel RAM. If you can try to upgrade to two sicks of 8GB RAM and see if that helps.

I’m just a casual gamer so a dedicated gaming computer would be overkill for me. I bought this knowing the games i do play would need to be on low settings. I fired up euro truck simulator 2 and put everything to the max. It ran with no lag at all. Very impressed.
I bought the laptop mainly for web browsing, youtube, the odd work thing here and there. It does all that with ease and in 4k. -

Hi, the Intel UHD G1, as same as all other integrated graphics processors, is built into the main processor, in this case the i5-1035G1. It’s not possible to remove the UHD G1 or add a dedicated video card, since the accompanying laptop motherboard doesn’t have a slot for it (and has no cooling for it). Only a few high-end gaming laptops have replaceable / upgradeable video cards.

It can, on low settings. I have those exact same specifications on my laptop and it tuns rainbow six siege at 50 fps on low settings which isnt bad.

I have a core i3 laptop with a cpu of 1.20GHz and a ram of 4gb which freezes when I upgrade my display card adapter to UHD. Because of that am being forced to use a lower driver which happens to be realeased in 2006.i don’t know how to about this issue and get it solved. Please help

Hello. My processor is i5-1035g1 10th Gen. WWE 2K18 and 2K19 have slow motion on my laptop. Will there be any increase in FPS if I upgrade my ram from 8GB to 12GB or 16GB?

Hi, 8GB RAM size is enough for these games. However, if you have single-channel RAM setup (1x8GB instead of dual-channel 2x4GB), then adding another RAM module to achieve dual-channel RAM will definitely help. Please keep in mind that the Intel UHD graphics of the i5-1035g1 is a very basic graphics processor, which isn’t suitable for smooth gaming in general.

I have seen that the UHD G1 card is about 20 % faster than the UHD. So I do wonder if the UHD G1 can do basic video editing in 4k? I tried it on my old computer with an intel hd 5500, but that wasn’t possible and I lost a lot of pixels. However both the UHD and UHD G1 one can runt 4k? So can anyone confirm this?

I’m pretty sure the UHD G1 doesn’t have 4GB of VRAM. My G1 also has 128MB. It isn’t really made for gaming despite doing a lot of games well, and hence why laptops and PCs with it in it is so cheap.

how well can it run roblox it is a very basic game so i hope it can run 30-90 FPS

Not well, maybe 60 FPS on the worst settings (if Roblox even has graphics settings, I’ve never played it).

A lot of games crash on Intel integrated graphics because Intel doesn’t put a lot of effort into the drivers, since they know most people won’t be using them to play video games. You’ll need a laptop with a Nvidia or AMD GPU to play games that crash on integrated graphics.

Yes, they are now surprisingly capable in the cheapest i3!! . Despite render time slower than the ones in i5 variants, i have no problem with it. You should Just save a little bucks and buy Zenbook um431 or anything with Ryzen/Athlon processor they are much faster for 4k rendering

From my experience you can’t
It’s barely 20-25 fps after 2-3 hours of playing and before that it has massive stutters due to loading of assets -

First of all ur uhd g1 is integrated into ur i5 processor so you can’t remove it
Second ur laptop motherboard is not meant to be upgraded with a discrete gpu but u still can do it by using an external pcie express port but ur laptop will lose its mobility -
I also have same problem but I have dual channel ram and it still doesn’t work
I think it’s due to ssd because only open world games don’t work when I drive or fly

Well, I can definitely say I was disappointed when I learned my laptop only had one RAM slot which condemned it to a slower overall experience. Intel UHD does better with dual channel RAM since it relies on RAM memory. It’s disappointing to see laptop manufactures make such terrible hardware decisions.
