The Intel N200 is a basic processor you can find in budget-friendly laptops. Although it is among the slowest laptop CPUs on the market, the N200 can handle reasonably well the routine computing tasks like web browsing with a few browser tabs opened, emails, or office document editing. The N200 is slower than the mainstream Intel Core chips, which can be particularly noticeable during heavier tasks like video editing. The N200 isn’t recommended for such tasks. But, during light computing duties, the difference won’t be extremely noticeable.

As for gaming performance, The Intel N200 and its Intel UHD integrated graphics processor are suitable only for the lightest gaming. It’s even noticeably slower than the Intel Iris Xe graphics, which is also a basic graphics processor.

On the positive side, the Intel N200 stands out with its low power consumption of 6 Watts. For comparison, the mainstream Intel Core U series chips consume 15 Watts, while high-performance gaming-class CPUs consume more than 50W.

This also means the N200 demands less cooling, so laptops with it can run quietly.
